Analytics Display transforms a conventional smart TV into a digital signage device capable of analyzing consumer profiles and behavior in the point of sale. This solution is based on connecting a player—equipped with a Wi-Fi antenna, a web cam and analytics software—to a smart TV.
Using Beabloo’s content management system (CMS), storeowners can program messages (promotions, new releases, etc.) to be displayed on the screen.
In parallel, the Wi-Fi antenna captures mobile devices within the vicinity as they move around the store, establishing their movement patterns. The webcam detects the faces of shoppers who pass in front of the TV, gathering anonymous information about their gender and age. It also helps to determine which contents generated the greatest interest and how many people have viewed that content.
The player’s analytics software combines the data obtained from both sources and prepares an in-depth analysis on consumer behavior, interests and profile.
To date, retailers were able to send personalized messages to the mobile devices of shoppers who enter or pass by their stores using beacons. The sole requirement was the recipient must have previously downloaded the store’s app on their smartphone or tablet. Now with Interactive Path, storeowners can control both transmitting and receiving devices.
This solution is designed for indoor installations that have an established path of movement. Its operation is based on providing every user who enters the store with a reader device (tablet); for example, in the case of a supermarket, a tablet connected to the shopping cart. As shoppers make progress along the path, the beacons installed at strategic points in the store send proximity information that is displayed in the reader.
In addition to its use in retail, this application is very relevant for installations in which users need to be guided along a specific path, such as museums, for example.
ISE visitors can also discover Beabloo’s interactive content readers. This technology is based on the use of a barcode or RFID tag on a product label. When shoppers or store staff members scan the label, the system projects a message on a nearby digital signage screen with information on the item: available stock, cross-selling suggestions, etc. The content displayed can be configured from the CMS.
Furthermore, Beabloo will present its solution for satisfaction surveys, which involves the installation of a tablet on a pedestal at the premises’ exit. The solution displays an attractive message that encourages consumers to express their level of satisfaction (for example, by tapping a sad, neutral or happy face), enabling businesses to obtain customer feedback quickly and easily.
