Fira de Barcelona is one of Europe’s biggest convention centers in terms of its business activity, facilities, experience and leadership. Established in 1932, it organizes and hosts trade fairs and conventions covering the main economic sectors as well as numerous corporate, social and cultural events every year. It has two major facilities and offers exhibitors, organizers and visitors all the resources of an efficient, modern organization.




The challenge

The Fira de Barcelona convention center hosts the Mobile World Congress, the world’s most important mobile event, every year. Fira is responsible for managing all of the publicity required for over 2,200 exhibitors. GSMA organizes this tech event and provides participant advertising services that include event website, digital signage and mobile app advertising. Previously, participants had to implement each campaign on every platform, tripling their workload. The resulting metrics were also insufficiently detailed.

The Beabloo solution

The Beabloo content management system (CMS) offered exhibitors unified campaign management across all platforms. CMS Audience Analytics dashboards also delivered relevant metrics for decisive ad campaign planning.

The results

Exhibitors halved the time spent managing adverts and analyzing campaign returns thanks to the implementation of Beabloo solutions. Advertisers were also able to use a single control dashboard updated in real time.
