Beabloo creates mobile app Ferrol4you to stimulate local commerce in Ferrol

The Association of TICFerrolterra Companies and the Ferrol City Council is Spain announce the project Ferrol4you, which will provide the most advanced communications technologies at the reach of local business owners in the region with the purpose of stimulating local commerce as well as the touristic and hospitality sectors. The project is based on the mobile app Ferrol4you, where businesses will be able to showcase relevant information and coupons, and the tourism agencies will be able to share information about the places to see around the city. The mobile app, created through Beabloo´s software for digital marketing platform creation and management, also provides the integration of social media, web and digital signage to achieve a better integration and reach.

“Semana Santa (Spring Break) represents a great volume of touristic activity for Ferrol. The Ferrol4you program offers a mobile platform that is integrated with social media to serve as a digital guide for tourists who visit us and the residents of Ferrol, who want to know more about the community around them,” said Alejandro Rodal, president of the business association TICFerrolterra, which gathers consulting and software development companies.

The Ferrol4you project consists of a mobile app that has an informative section where users can see an event calendar for Semana Santa in Ferrol, information about public transport and multiple spots to visit during their stay. This way, the app will serve as a tour guide through the city.

There is also a commercial section which offers the user a digital directory of the stores, restaurants and accommodations in the area. By selecting a category, the user can see the stores available, their products, access a map with directions on how to get there and even recommend the business or product to their friends on Facebook. By clicking on the “like” button, customers will be able to keep in touch with the business´ offers and the Ferrol community events and information from the City Council.

An important section for clients is Cash4you. This is where businesses that are affiliated will include their offers and discounts, which are updated constantly and seamlessly. The social networks created also support the awareness of such messaging to generate conversations around businesses, their products and consumer´s experiences.

The Beabloo system also provides a personal webpage to all affiliated businesses so they can count on a new communication channel that allows them to announce products, services, their value proposition and any other novelty.
